Description
The steps I've taken to produce my artworks has changed drastically over the past few months!~
Thought I'd share with you my updated design process From left to right, top to bottom: Here we go!!~
1) Initial Sketch: Here I draw several - dozens - hundreds of sketches on paper before starting the full digital piece.
2) Lineart: Using a solid, hard brush I draw over the sketch. Parts of the drawing are also rearranged here for anatomy correction.
3) Grayscale Render: In 50 Sexy Shades of Grey I make sure to make my characters look 3-Dimensional as possible.
4) Colour: Slap in those flat shades of colour on another layer with layer settings set to multiply.
5) Lighting: Throw in colours to set up the atmosphere of the artwork. Here I also take the time to add highlights to the character.
6) Paint Over: So I have NO IDEA how to blend or get rid of lineart...At this stage I take several hours to get rid of lines by painting
over them as well as adding rim light to the figures.
7) Adjust Levels: 'Nuff said.
8) Finalize!: The fun part. The BEST part. Chuck in all the necessary effects and voila!~
Hope you guys enjoyed my new Step-by-step process!~ Can I get some Llamas for this?!
