'Thank You..!' :The Fool, Clockwork's Facade by CHOBI-PHO 'Thank You..!' :The Fool, Clockwork's Facade by CHOBI-PHO

'Clockwork' is the name of the robot in this image. Clockwork held vast knowledge of the world, but none related to that of his existence.
He was a robot that had a heart, but an unusual heart which was that of a timer which ticked his life away at each passing moment.

He wandered the ends of the post-apocalyptic world searching for hope for answers. During his quest he came across the few humans left on the planet,
known as the 'children of hope'. He bore light to these children, sharing his knowledge of the past; about all the life that once made the earth so beautiful.
Their meeting was short-lived however as Clockwork continued searching for the reason of his existence.

Years later, around the time of his death, Clockwork realized the meaning of his life. He was a fool. He was blinded by the facade of time he set for himself.
He looked back into the past. He realized the happiness and life he bore into the ones he met, the bright future that he lay ahead for the children. They were the hope he was looking for.

The moral of the story is; you don't need to know the reason of your existence to give yourself value,
but it's what you do with the value of life that makes it so valuable in itself.
Clockwork was bounded by time and lost sight of his own value and what value he could've given himself and to others.

The image depicts a child of hope, many years later finding Clockwork, holding him tightly, thanking him for the knowledge and happiness
he shared with them in the past. So in the end, his life gave value to the world overall~ Happy-ish ending..

Haha, usually I tend to have higher quality work than this! ^^;
I had my back against the wall cause of time, and didn't get to put in as much effort as i wanted into this.
But I promise I'll do my best and make even better pieces in the future! Thanks so much for the kind words! :squee:

That was a fascinating little story you shared. I liked the bit with his heart ticking his life away with each moment, giving him a touch of humanity :) the story gives greater depth and stronger emotion to the lovely characters in the picture. Love the use of blues and the reflective light on the robot and the child. Kind of like rays of hope :D

hehe, thanks!! that line was actually my favorite part of the story as a matter of fact, haha!~
i kinda thought that was the most creative part in my story, so yeah...LOL. and I'm glad you like
my use of blues! It was originally in 'color' at first, but erased everything to blue to get that
sad, cold, chilly atmosphere~ I love your interpretation of light as rays of hope! Gives my image
much more meaning than I had intended, haha.

you have a Beautiful! gallery btw!! and only 19!!~ so envious!!
what are you studying / doing at the moment? Just finished school right?
