Zoids X Evangelion UNIT 01

Soo, I've worked on this piece for about…40-50 hours now??? LOL. This was originally meant to be, just me testing my rendering skills
to see how far I could push it at 100% at my current level. Initially this was just a pic of a head but after listening to some inspiring people,
I pursued to do a full body image instead of just a head. Hey, why not just complete it so I don't submit a half-ass piece of work to my gallery? So after spending 2 days (LOL) on the head I decided to work on the body…I wondered, how long will that take? -,-"

The design of this Zoid is based on Eva Unit 01 from the original Neon Genesis Evangelion series~
I actually wanted to use the Unit 01 model from the Rebuild series of Evangelion but was urged to use it for my next piece when I plan on
doing a Berserk version of Eva Unit 01 In saying that, this version lost a lot of details that I would've liked to put in as the Rebuild series
had lots! more little details in comparison to the original.

I'd like to dedicate this piece to Paul and Steve Jobs as they was a massive inspiration to this piece; pushing me on in designing this piece.

- Battle Story - (*Note: written really roughly and quickly. Don't flame if it doesn't make sense!)
As Eva Unit 01 drifted into the milky way, it eventually crashed onto Planet Zi; home to mechanical life-forms known as Zoids. As the residents of Zi dissected the mechanical humanoid infrastructure, they concluded they weren't able to restore it to its original form; and so began project EOZ.

The Eva's S2 Organ projected a faint life force that was similar to the Zoid Cores of planet Zi, and so they decided to created a Zoid in model of the Eva to transplant it's S2 engine. Using the technology they gained from the Unit, they successfully created the body to suit the S2 engine. Plans didn't go accordingly although when the S2 Organ embedded itself into the Zoid and became a unique life form of its own.

For research means the Eva gained the code name 'ZXE' - The Zoids (X) Evangelion; Evangelion Unit 01. Through speculation of the original Eva Unit 01, there seems to be more than one Eva in existence. Their existence however, remains a mystery.

After the completion of Unit 01, many pilots attempted to harness its power, but all have lead to no success. Scans show the Zoid Core / S2 Engine wasn't functioning properly and was only working at 2% capacity. After years of research the Unit proved to be a failure.
This however changed when a child named Shinji, stepped into the cockpit. The course of history was about to drastically change on
Planet Zi.</sub>
